This portion of the website will house photographs, documents and family trees. I'm in the process of adding photographs, documents and research that I have been collecting since 1977.

The blog will highlight my research notes and interesting tidbits/stories found along the way.

Search Tips

Several of the surnames in my family tree, have alternative spellings (MCGHEE/MCGEHEE; DICKSON/DIXON). If you are having difficulties finding a surname, use the Advanced Search form and select Soundex under Last Name.

• Photographs and documents belonging to me are not to be use for commercial purposes.

In 1841, She married Alexander DICKSON (aka John DIXON) in Muhlenberg County, KY
1842-1849, She and Alexander had 5 children (Elizabeth, Sarah, James, John & Nancy) in Williamson County, IL
In 1856, Harriet married Robert MCGEHEE in Gallatin County, IL
In 1858, Alex MCGHEE was born (my ancestor)
In 1878, Harriet died. She is buried in White Count, IL
